I just found out that Azteca Noticias is undergoing a major reorganization. Juan Pablo Delgado Cantú has been appointed as director of Hechos and César Castillejos Rangel as head of adn noticias. From what I’ve seen, this is part of a broader strategy by Grupo Salinas to strengthen the financial structure and protect jobs.

What’s interesting is that both individuals bring experience in serious journalism and multi-platform content. Delgado with his editorial vision focused on credibility, and Castillejos with a younger, digital profile. The idea seems to be to establish an informative model with rigor and independence.

At a time when verified journalism is increasingly necessary, these changes aim to position both platforms as references. Ninfa Salinas insists that the commitment is to speak the truth. We’ll see how this phase unfolds.
