“Two-Way Ride Fare Offer” will be adjusted to “Two Bucks, Two Discounts” starting tomorrow. Kowloon Motor Bus (KMB) and Long Win say that, to support the implementation of the new measure, after completing updates and testing of the fare collection system, they will remind frontline colleagues of the arrangements for the new measures, and provide relevant notices to passengers on display screens in the carriage and at bus stops, as well as on the website.

KMB said that currently, more than 140 routes provide two-directional, segmented fares, including launching a regional short-trip fare scheme in Tuen Mun/Yuen Long, Tin Shui Wai, the North District, Tai Po, Sha Tin, Ma On Shan, Tseung Kwan O, Sham Shui Po, Kowloon City and Kwun Tong, and installing card-tap machines for refunds of fares at more than 110 locations. After segmented, two-directional fares are applied, fare for most routes is 10 yuan or less. Eligible passengers under “Two Bucks, Two Discounts” can enjoy a more favorable fare.
