Wormhole responds to Drift incident: users are not at risk for now, but some Solana cross-chain transfers may experience delays
Odaily Planet Daily News: Wormhole posted on X to respond to the impact of the Drift Protocol attack. It said Wormhole users’ assets are not yet at risk, and the cross-chain bridge functions can still be used normally. However, due to built-in security mechanisms set for Solana, some cross-chain transfers may experience delays. Wormhole’s core contributors have been in communication with the Solana ecosystem team and will continue to provide support as needed.
