Anhui Provincial Drug Administration Notice on the Quality of Medical Device Supervision and Sampling Inspections in Anhui Province

To strengthen the supervision and administration of medical device quality, and to ensure the safety of medical device products used by the public, the Anhui Provincial Drug Administration has organized supervision sampling inspections of medical devices conducted across the province on medical device manufacturing, operating enterprises, and use units. Now, the medical devices that do not comply with regulations from the sampling inspections are hereby announced (see the attached for details).

For the product batches from the sampling inspections that do not comply with regulations, at all levels, drug supervision and administration authorities have required relevant enterprises and units to take risk control measures such as conducting risk assessments and determining recall levels. They will investigate the causes for noncompliance and carry out rectification in a practical manner. The Anhui Provincial Drug Administration has also required relevant regulatory departments within its jurisdiction to conduct enforcement actions in accordance with law and to publish the results of enforcement actions in accordance with regulations.
