Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China: Exploring innovative services such as "Computing Power Banks" and "Computing Power Supermarkets," supporting small and medium-sized enterprises to deposit idle computing resources.
ME News message, April 2 (UTC+8), the General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued a notice on carrying out a special action to empower small and medium-sized enterprises through inclusive computing power. The notice mentions that it is necessary to innovate a public-benefits computing power service model. Improve the small and medium-sized enterprise section of the China computing power platform, the computing power resource docking section on the China small and medium-sized enterprises service website, and the special section for national computing power internet service nodes (collectively referred to as the small and medium-sized enterprise platform sections), so as to promote precise alignment between small and medium-sized enterprise demand and computing power resource supply, and to roll out flexible payment models such as charging by “card-time,” “core-time,” and Token-based billing. Explore innovative business models such as a “computing power bank” and a “computing power mall,” and support small and medium-sized enterprises in depositing idle computing power resources, enabling flexible deposit, draw, and use through cross-regional and cross-cycle scheduling. Implement an AI support plan for the entrepreneurship of small and medium-sized enterprises, and encourage relevant local departments to subsidize “computing power vouchers,” “stored-power vouchers,” and “transport-power vouchers” for small and medium-sized enterprises that align with industrial priorities through the small and medium-sized enterprise platform sections, simplifying the process for obtaining and using them.
