ME News reports that on March 31 (UTC+8), Web3 security and analytics company FuzzLand intern researcher Chaofan Shou posted on X that the source code of Anthropic’s terminal development tool Claude Code appears to have leaked via map files in its NPM registry, and the related archive package has been publicly downloaded. Netizens say someone has already backed up the full code and uploaded it to a GitHub repository called “claude-code,” and shared that it contains a large number of TODO comments and hints about undisclosed features. There is currently no evidence that the repository or archive package was authorized by Anthropic officials, and Anthropic has not yet publicly responded to the suspected leak incident.
