Recently, many people are confused about choosing powder foundation, right? I’ve tried various types myself, and I realized that there’s a big difference between moisturizing and matte finishes.

Personally, my favorite is the one that doesn’t look powdery at all. It’s fine when you apply it in the morning, but isn’t it the worst when it becomes dry and flaky after a while? In that regard, a powder foundation with a moist texture doesn’t become flaky even after 8 hours. Instead, it keeps your skin feeling hydrated.

Coverage of pores and dark spots is also important, but honestly, many products can’t perfectly cover everything. That’s why I think the key is to carefully choose your primer. Just using a beige-tinted primer can completely change how the foundation looks.

Another surprisingly important factor is the case and mirror. A compact that’s easy to carry is important, but if the mirror is small, it’s really inconvenient for touch-ups on the go. A mirror that shows your entire face makes it easy to check for shine and spots at a glance.

I’ve realized that the powder foundation you should choose varies depending on whether your T-zone tends to get oily or your cheeks tend to dry out. For combination skin, especially, it’s best to choose with your morning makeup and how your skin feels after 8 hours in mind.
