Central New Energy (01735.HK) 2025 Revenue HKD 11.0 billion, up 82.6% Net profit HKD 34.2 million Photovoltaic capacity continues to expand
Gelonghui March 31丨Zhonghuan New Energy (01735.HK) released its 2025 annual results. During the reporting year, the Group’s revenue was approximately HK$11.017 billion, representing an increase of approximately 82.6%. Profit attributable to owners of the company was approximately HK$34.20 million. Basic and diluted earnings per share were approximately 0.81 HK cents.
Since 2022, the company has invested in high-efficiency photovoltaic N-type cells and advanced photovoltaic modules in Fengtai County. By the end of the reporting year, the Phase I and Phase II construction of 3GW photovoltaic module and 6GW photovoltaic cell projects had been completed and commenced production in 2024. The Phase III construction of 7.5GW photovoltaic cells and 3.5GW modules is expected to be completed by the end of 2026.
The transformation will include, but is not limited to: (i) reallocating capital, R&D efforts, and human resources to strengthen capabilities in renewable energy technology; (ii) establishing new energy solutions as the Group’s core growth driver, while adhering to its commitments to existing green building projects; and (iii) implementing a phased strategy to gradually reduce the green building business line over the next 5 to 10 years.
The Group is committed to practicing the concept of green development through photovoltaic power generation systems and energy storage technologies, creating an energy-saving and sustainable living environment. During the reporting year, the Group’s principal businesses were (i) new energy and EPC; (ii) green building and related businesses; (iii) smart energy management services; (iv) health and medical; and (v) foodservice supply chain. The Group seeks to achieve synergistic value across its segments, bringing higher returns and greater business opportunities to the Group.
Looking ahead, the company’s vision is clear and well-defined: to become a leading builder of a decentralized, resilient, and clean-energy future. The company is breaking through the limits of simply manufacturing solar photovoltaic (PV) modules and photovoltaic cells, moving toward autonomous energy engineering.
