Metaplanet increased its holdings by a total of 5,075 BTC in the first quarter, bringing the total holdings to 40,177 BTC.
Mars Finance news, Metaplanet CEO Simon Gerovich said that the company purchased 5,075 BTC at an average price of about $79,898 per coin today, for total investment of approximately $405.48 million, with a year-to-date Bitcoin return of 2.8%. As of March 31, the company had cumulatively held 40,177 BTC, with a total cost of approximately $4.18 billion and an average cost of about $104,106.
