On April 2, Trump’s speech raised oil prices and dampened hopes for interest rate cuts, impacting global markets once again, leading to a retreat in the Japanese and South Korean stock markets. The Nikkei 225 index closed down 1,276.41 points, a decline of 2.38%, ending at 52,463.27 points.
