Techub News reports that the Solana ecosystem trading protocol Drift Protocol posted on X platform stating that there is currently no evidence indicating that mnemonics have been stolen, and preliminary investigations show that Drift's program code or smart contracts themselves are not vulnerable. This attack has been characterized as a meticulously planned, highly complex deliberate operation that lasted several weeks. The attacker exploited a new type of attack involving Durable Nonce, using pre-signed transactions to delay execution, ultimately obtaining unauthorized or forged transaction approvals, and quickly took over the management rights of the Drift Security Council.
