This attack has been characterized as a meticulously planned, highly complex deliberate operation that lasted several weeks. The attacker exploited a new type of attack involving Durable Nonce, using pre-signed transactions to delay execution, ultimately obtaining unauthorized or forged transaction approvals, and quickly took over the management rights of the Drift Security Council.
