People’s Finance Network, April 2—To implement and carry out the requirements of the restrictive industry policy for e-cigarettes and to improve the overall coordination and consistency of regulatory policies for e-cigarettes, the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration has organized the drafting of the “Notice of the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration on Revising Certain Regulatory Policy Documents for E-Cigarettes (Draft for Comments),” which revises certain provisions of seven e-cigarette regulatory policy documents, including “Several Policy Measures for Advancing the Legalization and Standardization of the E-Cigarette Industry (Trial),” the “Detailed Rules for the Management of Fixed-Asset Investment in E-Cigarettes,” the “Detailed Rules for the Implementation of Technical Review for E-Cigarette Products,” the “Detailed Rules for the Management of Traceability of E-Cigarette Products,” the “Detailed Rules for the Management of Import and Export Trade of E-Cigarettes and Foreign Economic and Technical Cooperation,” the “Detailed Rules for the Management of the Establishment, Division, Merger, and Cancellation of E-Cigarette-Related Manufacturing Enterprises,” and the “Notice of the Office of the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration on Issuing the Standard for ‘Integrated Government Services Platform—Electronic Certificates—Part 2: E-Cigarette’ for Tobacco Monopoly Production Enterprise Licenses.”
