Golden Pass LNG starts producing after QatarEnergy and Exxon's Middle East facilities shut down

The Golden Pass LNG project, a joint venture between Exxon Mobil Corp. and QatarEnergy in Sabine Pass, Texas, has commenced production from its first LNG train. This development follows previous contracting challenges and shutdowns at other facilities owned by the companies in the Middle East. QatarEnergy holds a 70% stake in Golden Pass LNG, while Exxon owns the remaining 30%.
