ZachXBT once again criticizes Circle for their inaction during the Drift hack incident, which allowed stolen funds to flow out of Solana via CCTP.
Mars Finance news: well-known on-chain investigator ZachXBT has once again posted a scathing message targeting Circle, saying the Drift hacker incident occurred during U.S. trading hours, with millions of USDC moving from Solana to Ethereum via CCTP (Circle’s cross-chain protocol), while Circle was asleep and taking no action. A few days ago, Circle had also casually frozen at least 16 corporate hot wallets, which are still slowly being unfrozen. ZachXBT concluded by saying: “Circle is the industry’s bad actor.”
