JUST IN: Apple released a security update for older iPhones and iPads to combat Darksword, a hacking toolkit that can steal messages, browsing history, location, and cryptocurrency simply by visiting a compromised website.
Apple released iOS 18.7.7 and iPadOS 18.7.7 to enhance protection against web attacks known as Darksword.
The hacking toolkit affects devices running iOS 18.4 through 18.7 and has already been used in targeted attacks in China, Malaysia, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Ukraine.
