Recently, I tried various solid facial cleansing soaps, but choosing the right product is really difficult. From additive-free types to honey-infused ones, there are so many different kinds that I get confused. There are also well-known brands like Cow Brand and Vearnal, which have been around for a long time.

After actually comparing them, I realized that when it comes to recommended facial cleansing soaps, it's not just about cleansing power but also about balancing moisture retention and overall feel during use. I gathered popular products from Amazon and Rakuten and compared them based on four points: cleansing power, moisturizing ability, ingredients, and feel.

Personally, I found Shirayuki no Uta to be quite excellent. It contains only simple soap ingredients, providing a good balance of moderate cleansing power and moisture retention. It lathers well, and the price is affordable at around 400 yen. As a second choice, I recommend IPSA’s Cleansing Marine Cake, which contains hyaluronic acid and leaves your skin feeling moist after washing, making it suitable for people with dry skin.

Also, if you prefer honey-based products, HACCI’s soap creates a dense, nice foam. However, since it costs over 5,000 yen, for daily use, more cost-effective options like Shirayuki no Uta or Collage A might be more practical.

For acne prevention, the Yoka Soap with glycyrrhiza glabra (licorice root) extract is a good choice, and for sensitive skin, ETVOS’s Clear Soap Bar is fragrance-free and easy to use. Ultimately, choosing based on your skin type is the best approach. If you're unsure about which facial cleansing soap to pick, I recommend focusing on the balance between cleansing and moisturizing, as well as whether or not it has a fragrance.
