The other day, I came across a comparison article about baby cribs, and I realized it's more in-depth than I thought. It's not just about choosing based on "cheap" or "compact," but also considering factors like back strain, height adjustment to match the child's height, and other detailed aspects. Especially since postpartum bodies are more fragile than expected, ease of getting the baby in and out is really an important factor.

What was interesting was that even among the same high-type models, just a 5cm difference in the height of the bedboard completely changed the ratings for someone who is 150cm tall versus someone who is 170cm tall. They also carefully compared features like whether it’s foldable, has storage space underneath, or has casters. I’ve never realized that comparing baby cribs could be this complicated.

Prices range widely from around 10,000 yen to over 120,000 yen, and since the usage period is limited, where to spend money becomes crucial. I felt that choosing a baby crib requires more planning than I initially thought.
