Gu Jun appointed Vice Governor of Liaoning Province
Liaoning Daily News: On March 25, the 22nd meeting of the Standing Committee of the 14th Liaoning Provincial People’s Congress concluded in Shenyang.
The meeting decided to appoint Gu Jun as deputy governor of Liaoning Province, and decided to accept Dan Yi’s request to resign from the deputy governor position.

According to a publicly available resume, Gu Jun is male, Han Chinese, born in March 1970, holds an in-service graduate degree, a master’s degree in business administration, is an engineer, and is a member of the Chinese Communist Party.
Gu Jun has previously served as deputy secretary-general of the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government, Party Secretary and Director of the Municipal Development and Reform Commission, and Party Secretary and Director of the Executive Committee of the Yangtze River Delta Eco-Green Integrated Development Demonstration Zone, among other roles.
Recently, Gu Jun has been appointed as a member of the Liaoning Provincial People’s Government Party group. The website of the Liaoning Provincial People’s Government states that Gu Jun is responsible for work in housing and urban-rural development, commerce, foreign affairs, government affairs disclosure, big data, and other areas; and assists in overseeing work on building the business environment.
Dan Yi, who stepped down as deputy governor of Liaoning Province, has now been appointed as a member of the Standing Committee of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee.
