A video from 2012 has recently circulated again that is quite disturbing in retrospect. In that interrogation, Ramiro Pozos González, known as El Molca, made a prediction about the fate of Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, El Mencho. And well, 14 years later, that prediction came true almost to the letter.

El Molca was handcuffed in front of cameras when he dropped that phrase that seemed straight out of a crystal ball. He spoke about how El Mencho was going to be ruined, and indeed, last February he was killed by security forces. What's interesting is that El Molca not only predicted what would happen, but explained the entire structure of how the Jalisco New Generation Cartel arose from the fragmentation of the Millennium Cartel.

To understand this, you have to go back. El Molca was an important logistics and financial operator within the Millennium Cartel, based in Jalisco and Colima. When the main leaders were detained, El Lobo and El Tigre, an internal reorganization began that changed everything. El Mencho occupied strategic spaces until consolidating his own control in Jalisco and Colima, which eventually became the CJNG. El Molca ended up on the opposite side, in La Resistencia.

In his testimony to the Federal Police, El Molca described how the war between factions began. He spoke about how they wanted him to hand over certain key operators, but he refused. Then came open conflict. What's fascinating is that El Molca, already captured and knowing he faced years in prison, seemed to have clarity about the destiny that awaited El Mencho in that environment of endless war.

Ramiro Pozos González was detained in Zapopan in 2012. He was presented as a blow against the remnants of the old cartel. In photos of his capture he even appears smiling, thumbs up, as if he knew something others didn't. He was sentenced in 2021 to 28 years in prison and is currently in Altiplano. El Molca serves his sentence as the world learns that his prediction about El Mencho turned out to be prophetic.
