I just found out that the spring equinox recently occurred in the United States. It was on March 20 at 10:46 AM Eastern Time. It's interesting because at that exact moment, the Sun crosses the celestial equator, marking the official start of spring in the Northern Hemisphere.

I wondered how long spring lasts, and it turns out it lasts approximately three months, about 92 days and 17 hours. It ends on June 20 when summer begins. Interestingly, spring doesn't always start on the same day because the astronomical year doesn't perfectly align with the Gregorian calendar, so it can start on March 19, 20, or 21 depending on the year.

What caught my attention the most is how this season affects everything around us. Temperatures gradually rise, days get longer, and nights become shorter. Plants start to bloom, trees regain their leaves, and many animals begin their reproductive or migration cycles. Plus, we all move more—there are more outdoor activities, sports, and gatherings with friends. Spring really changes the dynamics of everything.

Now that it's April, we can already feel those changes. Have you noticed the difference since spring started?
