Which cryptos could realistically hit $1 in the next bull run? Been seeing a lot of chatter about this lately, so I dug into the numbers on four solid candidates that actually have a shot.
Starting with Dogecoin – yeah, the OG meme coin. It came close to $0.74 back in 2021, so hitting $1 isn't completely out of reach. Current price is sitting around $0.09, meaning you're looking at roughly a 1,010% move to reach that psychological level. Market cap would balloon to around $169 billion if it happens, which would make it the third-largest crypto. Not impossible if the next cycle gets really euphoric.
Then there's Kaspa. This one's been under the radar but the blockDAG tech actually makes sense for scalability. It hit $0.21 last summer but has pulled back to $0.03. The math is brutal – needs a 2,793% increase to reach $1. That said, the community is solid and the fundamentals around transaction speed are legit. Could be a dark horse next crypto to hit $1 if adoption picks up.
Stellar's interesting because it's been around for a decade and has real use cases in cross-border payments. Touched $0.60+ during previous bull runs but never quite got to $1. Now trading around $0.17 with a $5.68 billion market cap. It's the steadiest of the bunch but also the least explosive. Some analysts think $0.25 is more realistic by mid-2026, though $1 isn't completely off the table if the market really runs.
Hedera Hashgraph is my wildcard pick. Enterprise focus, actual throughput advantages, major corporations on the board. HBAR peaked at $0.57 in 2021 and is currently at $0.09. Needs a 980% move to hit $1, but the institutional narrative around tokenization and on-chain asset management could be the catalyst. If enterprise adoption accelerates alongside a crypto bull run, this could actually have the best fundamentals of the group.
Honest take though – all of these reaching $1 depends heavily on Bitcoin's performance. These aren't isolated plays. If BTC rallies hard, the whole market lifts. If we see a downturn, even the best projects struggle. The next crypto to hit $1 will likely be determined by broader market cycles more than individual project metrics. That said, if you're looking at potential winners in the next cycle, these four are worth monitoring.
