Hey, I just found out that today it will be difficult to get around Mexico City. There are protests at several locations, especially around Reforma and the surrounding areas. If you were planning to go out, better check the routes carefully because there will be blockades and marches all afternoon.

From what I saw, the gatherings start at 9 a.m. in Miguel Hidalgo, then move through Reforma, and later expand to Cuauhtémoc, Coyoacán, Tlalpan, and other boroughs. On Paseo de la Reforma, there will be quite a lot of activity, so if you need to pass through there, prepare in advance.

What caught my attention is that Tom Tom Traffic says Mexico City is already among the cities with the worst traffic in the world, so add these protests today, and it’s going to be chaos. Streets like Insurgentes, Periférico, Viaducto, and Calzada de Tlalpan will be impossible to navigate during rush hours.

My advice: if it’s not urgent, stay home. If you have to go out, leave early or wait until things calm down. Also, let your friends know because many probably haven’t heard. What do you think, is it worth trying to move around?
