Deep Tide TechFlow message. On April 1, according to data from JIN10, the U.S. national jobs report released by ADP on Wednesday showed that the number of jobs in U.S. private companies increased steadily in March. Last month, private-sector employment positions increased by 62,000, while the February increase was revised upward to 66,000. The market expects that private employment positions in March will increase by 40,000. Nela Richardson, chief economist at ADP, said: “Overall hiring conditions are stable, but job growth is still skewed toward certain industries, including healthcare. In March, while maintaining solid employment performance, wage growth for job switchers also increased.” Data showed that small businesses became the main driver of employment growth for the second consecutive month, while hiring numbers in the trade, transportation, and utilities industries continued to decline. Wage growth for retained employees remained flat for the third consecutive month, while the year-over-year wage increase for job switchers accelerated to 6.6%.
