The earliest approval for the original Minoxidil topical solution in the United States was in August 1988, and the certificate holder was Johnson & Johnson Group Consumer Companies. This product, with a 2% strength, is gender-neutral and used to treat androgenetic alopecia and alopecia areata. The 5% strength is for use in males only and is used to treat androgenetic alopecia and alopecia areata. As of the date of this announcement, the original drug has not been launched in the domestic market. Domestic manufacturers that have obtained drug registration certificates for Minoxidil topical solution, including Jiangsu Diyik, total 62 companies.
