Odaily Planet Daily reports: JPMorgan Chase Chairman and CEO Jamie Dimon made astonishingly hawkish remarks, openly defending war. He said Iran “has been doing bad things for 45 years,” and questioned, “Why has the Western world tolerated this for so long?” In his view, successfully eliminating the Iranian threat “matters far more than the market’s short-term performance.” Jamie Dimon said: “Let those people control the Strait of Hormuz, fund all these proxy wars—why has the Western world tolerated these proxy wars for 45 years? I find it a bit hard to understand. I really hope the outcome is good, and I hope we can somehow achieve lasting peace in the Middle East.” (Axios)
