JUST IN: Blockstream Launches SHRIMPS Quantum Resistant Bitcoin Signatures.
The company co founded by Adam Back proposes a quantum resistant hash signature scheme three times more compact than the NIST standard.
Blockstream's standard produces signatures of 2,564 bytes, while the SLH DSA standard produces 7,872 bytes.
According to Google, the quantum resources needed to crack Bitcoin are 20 times less than previously estimated.
