JUST IN: Mercado Libre discontinues its cryptocurrency, Mercado Coin with the cancellation of Mercado Coin, the loyalty program ends, but this does not mean Mercado Libre is abandoning the cryptocurrency ecosystem.

Mercado Libre announced that it will cease operating its cryptocurrency, Mercado Coin, on April 17, 2026.
The e commerce giant communicated the decision through a notification and an email to Mercado Pago users.
