Qianwen tests the "citation" feature

Abstract generation in progress

Recently, Qianwen launched a new feature called “Citations,” which can perform a second round of fact-checking on answer content that involves news current events, policy developments, and other topics that require quoting external sources.

In real-world use, this feature isn’t always shown. Only when a user’s question involves news current events or other questions that require referencing online information will a “Citations” button appear at the end of the answer. After clicking the button, it will automatically enter the verification mode.

There are two ways to provide intelligent annotations for key information: if the content is supported by reliable authoritative sources that can be cross-verified, it will be highlighted in green; if the information source is unclear or there are contradictions, it will be marked in red and prompt “Further verification required.”

It’s understood that this feature is currently in its testing phase.
