I just completed my Pi KYC, and I have to say, the whole process was less complicated than I thought. If you haven't started yet—time is running out, so here are my tips on how to get it done quickly.
First: check your documents. I had my passport and an old utility bill ready. The most important thing is that everything is legible and not expired. Blurry photos are the biggest killer—I learned that the hard way. Good lighting, clear shots, all fields visible. Done.
Then open the Pi app, go to the KYC section, and get started. You can choose between document verification and facial recognition. I did both—first uploaded my ID, then did the face scan. Some people also had to record a short video, but that wasn't necessary for me.
What I also learned: don't submit multiple times. Sounds silly, but when you're nervous, you might quickly think your first application got lost. Spoiler: don’t do that. Just submit once and wait. It took a few hours for my approval to come through. You can check your Pi KYC status anytime in the app.
So, if you're still unsure: take half an hour, take good photos, and you're done. Pi KYC is actually straightforward if you do it right. Has anyone else just done this or is still about to?
