Just saw that Joshua Easterly is stepping down from Sixth Street. Pretty big move considering how much he built that firm from the ground up. The guy basically helped turn it into one of the major players in private capital, managing over $125 billion in assets. San Francisco-based outfit, been running strong under his leadership for years. Curious what prompted Joshua Easterly to leave now. Wonder if this signals any shifts in how they operate or if it's just time for him to move on to something else. Either way, his fingerprints are all over Sixth Street's success story.
