I just noticed something about scalping that retail traders often overlook. They get trapped because they only follow the big candle movements without understanding the real context. In reality, consistent profits are not about speed — but about timing and reading market psychology.
Look at XRP now at $1.34 (down 0.88% in 24 hours). It seems to be dropping, but wait a minute. Many traders immediately short here. They think they can make big profits. But what actually happens? They become victims of rejection candles they didn’t see coming.
AVAE is still holding at 98.8 with positive momentum +1.11%, while PENGU has already broken $0.01 with a +1.08% gain. These three assets show interesting volatility for certain strategies. But the most important thing — you need to know where rejection candles will appear.
My strategy is simple but deadly: find clear support or resistance areas — can be from EMA, trendlines, or other key levels. Wait until a rejection candlestick appears — it could be a pin bar, doji, or engulfing pattern. What makes the difference is confluence. If the rejection candle appears right at EMA20 plus minor resistance, it’s not a coincidence — it’s a signal. Enter on the next confirming candle. Profit targets are around 0.5% to 1.5%, with a stop loss just above or below the candle shadow.
People say price action isn’t enough, you need complicated indicators. Big mistake. Rejection candlesticks with confluence are the sniper’s weapon of the market. Others see chaos, you see opportunity. They think you’re just speculating, but you’re actually reading buyer and seller psychology.
What’s the difference between profitable traders and losing traders? Profitable traders don’t fight the price. They wait for the market to reveal its hand before taking action. Rejection isn’t fear — it’s a signal that the market is setting up for the next move, and you’re catching that momentum before anyone else.
So next time you see a big candle, don’t get excited right away. Ask yourself: is there confluence? Is this a rejection pattern? If the answer is yes, then you enter. That’s the difference between a profitable scalper and a broke one.
