I've just realized that many newcomers to crypto often struggle with developing trading strategies. Today, I want to share some trading experience I've learned from the real market.
First, never put all your eggs in one basket. This sounds familiar but is very important. Currently, BTC is at $67.92K (+1.99% in 24h) and ETH at $2.07K (+3.14%), but we shouldn't focus only on these coins. Each coin has different liquidity, intrinsic value, so diversifying your portfolio is essential. Choosing high market cap coins with clear real value and moderate volatility will help keep you safer.
A small tip I often use is checking the 24-hour change indicator. If a coin increases less than 1%, the trend isn't clear yet. If it jumps over 3%, it might be too late to enter. The 1-3% range is the golden zone for you to consider. This isn't a strict rule but quite effective for short-term traders.
Third, leverage tools like CoinMarketCap. This site provides all information about market cap, trading volume, and supply of all coins on the market. If you're an investor who relies on data, this is a treasure trove.
My trading experience also includes learning from the community. TradingView is a good forum to see analyses from other traders. In Vietnam, TraderViet is also very useful. But remember, everyone has different trading styles, so you need to clearly define your goals before applying others' advice.
Don’t try to invest in too many coins. I’ve tried before but realized that beyond a certain point, diversification no longer works effectively. Instead, focus on coins you understand deeply, monitor regularly, and stay informed about their news. Choosing coins with different trends will help you better grasp the market.
Finally, avoid coins without intrinsic value. You’ll see some small coins suddenly jump into the top 40 or top 10 thanks to aggressive marketing, but these are often bubbles with very high risk. Of course, you can make profits from them, but it requires a lot of trading experience and skills to identify the right selling points. Carefully consider the fundamentals before making decisions.
In summary, with these strategies, you'll have a safer roadmap in this volatile crypto market. I encourage you to start with these basic principles before trying more complex strategies.
