I just saw an updated list of the top 100 richest people in the world, and honestly, it's pretty interesting to see how the rankings change. Elon Musk is in first place with $444 billion, followed by Jeff Bezos and Mark Zuckerberg. But what surprised me is that if you look further down the top 100 richest people in the world, you'll find people from completely different industries — from tech, to retail, to finance.

It's funny that some of the most well-known names in Silicon Valley are somewhere in the middle. Bill Gates, Larry Page, Sergey Brin — all there with $160-170 billion. Then you have Warren Buffett with $142 billion, and if you keep scrolling down, you see people from China, India, Mexico — it's a complete mix. And yes, somewhere around position 23, there's also a founder of a major crypto exchange, but it doesn't really matter much for the rest of the rankings.

The most interesting observation is that the top 100 richest people in the world are not only dominated by Americans. There are French with Arnault at number 5, Germans, Brits, Chinese with Ma Huateng, and others. And these fortunes are astronomical — we're talking tens of billions per person. I was curious some time ago about how the situation has changed, and it's clear that tech and e-commerce have dominated in recent years.
