MARKET: Brent crude surpasses $115 as Houthi attacks raise fears of escalating war.


Oil prices rose due to the involvement of Iranian backed Houthi militants in the Middle East conflict and the arrival of more US troops in the region, increasing fears of an escalation.
Brent crude climbed 3.3% to $116.50 a barrel following Houthi missile and drone attacks against Israel, while West Texas Intermediate rose 3.4%.
