Bitcoin mining company Bitdeer announced that its subsidiary Tydal Data Center AS has signed an agreement with Norwegian contractor Data Center Installations AS (DCI) to convert the existing Tydal facility into a 180MW AI data center, primarily for hosting Nvidia's latest Vera Rubin AI technology. The project is expected to be completed by December 2026. The company stated that once built, the facility is expected to become the largest AI data center in operation in Norway and one of the largest AI data centers in Europe.
