The end of trading is the reverence for "seeing the mountain as the mountain" or not.

Many traders spend their entire lives searching for the "Holy Grail," but I always adhere to the most traditional charting techniques as the core of my trading. Perhaps in the wave of pursuing algorithms and AI, this seems somewhat outdated, even clumsy.
But I deeply understand that the essence of trading has never been about stacking numbers, but about the game of "human nature." Even the strongest AI ultimately cannot transcend the constraints of human nature. Because human nature is unquantifiable; it exists to break rules.
I have been obsessed with countless tools, floating in the ocean of "techniques." In the end, I realized that the phrase "seeing the mountain as the mountain, not the mountain, seeing the mountain as the mountain" truly reflects my trading journey. Tools are always just "techniques," and the person behind the screen controlling those techniques is your real opponent.
When you are battered by the market and finally return to the original chart, you will understand what "seeing the mountain as the mountain" truly means: it is a return to the truth of the market. Studying human nature is far closer to the "way" of trading than merely mastering tools.
Before you prepare to become a trader, remember this deeply: in the face of unpredictable human nature, your "technique" may be worthless. Only by understanding human nature can you survive long in the market.
