I just saw on-chain data that Satoshi Nakamoto's Bitcoin wallet, which has been dormant for over 14 years, suddenly moved today. This address hasn't been touched since 2009, but this morning it received a test transaction, and then in the afternoon, it transferred 1 BTC to a hot wallet of a major exchange. The entire crypto community is buzzing.
The craziest part is that this wallet still holds about 990,000 BTC, which, at current prices, is worth hundreds of billions of dollars. If Satoshi Nakamoto really becomes active again, the impact on the market would be enormous. However, experts say it's most likely someone has cracked the private key or it's just a test; it's unlikely that Satoshi himself is making moves.
Social media is going wild. The Twitter hashtag even trended globally. Some say this is the craziest day in Bitcoin history, while others are worried it might trigger a large-scale sell-off. But the Bitcoin core development team quickly clarified that anything without a cryptographic signature shouldn't be trusted. Even if the private key has been leaked, it wouldn't affect Bitcoin's security. It seems everyone still needs to stay rational and not get caught up in the hype.
