The Observatory indicates that a thunderstorm area is currently affecting the coastal region of Guangdong. At the same time, a southerly airflow is influencing the area. It is expected that a low-pressure trough located in northern South China will gradually approach the coastal areas. Showers and thunderstorms are anticipated later on Tuesday (31st). For the following one or two days, there will still be occasional showers, with brief periods of sunshine. The weather is expected to become increasingly unstable during the Easter and Ching Ming Festival holidays.

The Observatory stated that a low-pressure trough will bring showers and thunderstorms to the coastal region of Guangdong on Tuesday, and a southeasterly airflow is expected to affect the coastal areas of South China in the middle of this week, with still one or two showers in the area. Due to the influence of the low-pressure trough, the weather in South China during the Easter and Ching Ming Festival holidays will be unstable, with occasional showers and thunderstorms. As the low-pressure trough weakens, showers will gradually decrease by the middle of next week.
