Iran's Supreme Leader Khamenei thanks the Iraqi people

Iranian state media reported on Sunday that Iran’s Supreme Leader Mujtaba expressed gratitude to the Iraqi people and religious leaders for their support during Iran’s “confrontation with aggression,” but the report did not mention how this information was obtained.

Mujtaba was injured during the first day of airstrikes by the U.S. and Israel against Iran and was later elected as Supreme Leader, succeeding his late father Khamenei, but has yet to make a public appearance or give a formal speech, always being reported on through the media.
