Abstract generation in progress

The National Development and Reform Commission and the State Council’s Office of the National Working Committee on Children and Women have issued opinions on promoting child-friendly construction throughout society, fully implementing child-friendly development. Support localities to use cities as the basic unit to systematically integrate child-friendly policies and measures in social policies, public services, rights protection, growth spaces, and development environments, advancing child-friendly construction across urban and rural areas. Promote the experience of building child-friendly cities, encouraging local governments to deepen coordination, departmental collaboration, and social participation, forming a collective effort for advancing child-friendly construction in terms of policy coordination, financial investment, and project implementation. Provincial governments will coordinate and guide cities within their jurisdictions to engage in “pairing” cooperation for child-friendly construction, strengthening the learning and application of experiences. Encourage eastern regions to support child-friendly construction in cities in the central and western regions through counterpart assistance and cooperation. Encourage and guide enterprises, public institutions, social groups, and individuals to participate in child-friendly construction through charitable donations, public welfare assistance, volunteer services, technical support, and other forms.
