Always be cautious when a protocol claims to be for the public good.


This phrase is so commonly used in crypto that it can mean almost anything. Sometimes it just means open source. Sometimes it means "important." Sometimes it genuinely means "we haven't thought about how this thing survives forever without subsidies for anyone." So when I saw that Sigh explicitly used the phrase "public good with incentives attached," #SIGN $SIGN
