People’s Financial News, March 25 — On March 25, 2026, the Intermediate People’s Court of Dalian City, Liaoning Province, publicly sentenced the first trial of Tan Ruisong, former Party Secretary and Chairman of China Aviation Industry Group Co., Ltd., for corruption, bribery, insider trading, and leaking insider information. Tan Ruisong was sentenced to 15 years in prison for embezzlement and fined 5 million RMB; sentenced to death for bribery, suspended for two years, with lifelong political rights deprivation, and all personal assets confiscated; sentenced to six years in prison for insider trading and leaking insider information, fined, with the death penalty suspended for two years, lifelong political rights deprivation, and all personal assets confiscated. The court ordered the return of embezzled assets to the victim organization, the confiscation of bribe-related assets and interest, and their transfer to the state treasury, as well as continued recovery of illegal gains from insider trading.
