Will ETH break below 2000 tonight?
This current market situation is actually quite obvious.
After a sharp decline from the high levels earlier, the 4-hour chart has been moving sideways with oscillations, but there has been a very key change in the past couple of days — the rebound is getting weaker, and the selling pressure is becoming more apparent. Every time it tries to rally, there are sellers.
Just now, after dropping from around 2160, it directly fell back to the 2070 level. The pace is no longer just oscillation; it seems more like preparing for a further breakdown.
The 2000 level is actually a dividing line for current market sentiment.
Holding above → continued sideways movement or breakdown → sentiment will weaken significantly. Once a true volume-driven breakdown occurs, the downside space will open up, not just a simple “pinning” move.
So tonight, there’s no need to overcomplicate things: just watch whether 2000 can hold. My personal approach remains conservative: if the rebound isn’t strong, continue to view it as weak.
In this kind of market, the biggest risk isn’t missing opportunities, but repeatedly entering and exiting in the middle, getting caught in the chop. If the rhythm is right, the market will naturally give the result.
