After experiencing several extreme black swan events, I am now extremely picky about where I store my funds. I don't want to keep them on fly-by-night platforms that could disconnect at any moment, nor do I want to let them sit in cold wallets earning near-zero returns and gathering dust.
Recently, a few old friends in the community recommended I check out @grvt_io, saying their new version has optimized fund efficiency.
I downloaded the app and tried their flagship GLP strategy vault. Honestly, what attracted me wasn't the high returns but the sense of transparency and control. All operational data and historical drawdowns are clearly displayed on the interface, so there's no need to guess the underlying logic blindly.
I deposited some USDT as a test. What made me feel most secure is that this money isn't "locked up."
In traditional DeFi protocols, once you earn interest, you can't move that money; but in Grvt, this earning-capable fund also serves as collateral for my contract account.
This clever design resolves the contradiction between "earning interest on holdings" and "holding assets to wait for dips (to buy the dip)." My backup funds generate passive income safely, but as soon as I spot a good trading opportunity, I can mobilize them to the front lines at any time.
This is a product approach that truly values user funds, rather than locking assets purely for the sake of locking.
