How to register for Bitget?

New User Registration Guide: Web Version

Step 1:

Open the official Bitget website, click on “Register” on the page to go to the registration page.

Step 2:

Enter your email, set a password (8-32 characters, must include numbers + uppercase letters + special symbols, e.g., A1@666xxx), enter an invitation code if you have one, agree to the user agreement, and click “Create Account.”

Step 3:

Complete CAPTCHA verification: click the symbols in the images in the specified order, then click “Confirm”; your email will receive a 6-digit verification code (valid for 10 minutes). Copy and paste it into the verification box.

Step 4:

After entering the verification code, your account will be successfully created. The page will prompt you to complete identity verification. Click “Verify Now” to start KYC.

Step 5:

On the verification page, click “Start Verification,” select your country/region of residence and the issuing country/region of your ID, then choose the document type (recommended: ID card; options also include passport and driver’s license).

Step 6:

You will see two options: “Continue” (web verification) / “Verify on Mobile,” choose one:

• Verify on Mobile: follow the prompts to switch or scan QR code to your phone (the process is the same as app verification, more recommended, easier to take photos);

• Continue (Web Verification): upload clear photos of the front and back of your ID card (must be taken in advance, unobstructed, no reflections, complete information, original unedited).

Step 7:

After uploading your documents, follow the system prompts to complete facial recognition verification.

Step 8:

After submitting all information, wait for approval. The result will be notified via your registered email. If rejected, the email will specify the reason. If no notification is received within 4 hours, contact customer service directly.

New User Registration Guide: App Version

Step 1:

Download the official Bitget App. Open it and tap “Start Now/Register” to go to the registration page.

Step 2:

Choose to register with your phone number, select the correct country code, enter your phone number, set a password according to the same rules as the web version, optionally enter an invitation code, agree to the user agreement, and tap “Create Account.”

Step 3:

Complete CAPTCHA verification: click the symbols in the images in order, then tap “Confirm.”

Step 4:

Your phone will receive a 6-digit SMS verification code (valid for 10 minutes). Enter it and tap “Submit.” Your account is now registered. The page will prompt you to verify your identity; tap “Proceed to KYC.”

Step 5:

Paste the verification code; you will be automatically logged into your Bitget account. You will see the following: tap “Proceed to Verify.”

Step 6:

Learn about identity verification (KYC) and its purpose. Tap “Verify Now.”

Step 7:

Use the dropdown menu to select your country/region of residence and the issuing country/region of your ID. Choose the document type you want to use, then tap “Next.”

Step 8:

Follow the steps shown in the verification process. Just follow the instructions in the images.

Key Reminders

1. Registration and verification are completely free. Do not reuse passwords from other platforms. Keep your passwords secure and do not disclose them.

2. The registration verification code is only valid for 10 minutes. If not received, check your email spam folder, verify your phone number, or tap “Resend.”

3. You must be at least 18 years old to complete verification. One ID can only be linked to one Bitget account; duplicate verifications are not allowed.
