After staying for a few days, I finally understand why most crypto people from Sichuan who drift around eventually end up back in Chengdu.

**High city standards:** Chengdu's modernization is on par with Shenzhen, and as the central hub of the western region, it far surpasses most provincial capitals. It offers top-tier urban resources without that suffocating sense of pressure.

**Easy-going lifestyle:** Relaxed and unhurried, whether you're young or retired, you can find a teahouse by the roadside, order a couple of cups of tea, and spend an entire afternoon there.

**Familiar dialect:** Sichuan dialect is everywhere, and even migrant workers mostly come from the greater Sichuan region. A familiar accent brings a strong sense of belonging. (They say it takes three years to learn to speak Sichuan dialect fluently, though honestly most people can understand at least half of it just by listening—it's nothing like Cantonese or Hokkien.)

**Living well is what matters most.**

Is there a city in your heart that truly understands you?
