Many people still simply equate DeFi with "yield farming + high APY," but this phase is gradually coming to an end.

Recently, @TermMaxFi proposed a more sophisticated direction—on-chain fixed income.

This concept has long dominated traditional finance. The global bond market far exceeds the stock market in scale, with its core logic being: institutions and large capital pools don't pursue high risk-high return, but rather need stable, predictable, and risk-controlled yields.

In contrast, most current DeFi products remain dominated by floating rates and short cycles, with returns highly dependent on market sentiment and clearly insufficient stability.

The structured products that Termmax @TermMaxFi is building are designed precisely to fill this critical gap. It not only provides yields, but more importantly, systematically designs the mechanism by which yields are generated, making yield sources transparent, decomposable, and verifiable.

Furthermore, it is attempting to gradually migrate mature real-world yield assets (such as government bonds, credit bonds, etc.) on-chain, providing on-chain yields with explicit anchoring logic and risk pricing frameworks, rather than relying on short-term speculation.

When on-chain yields possess predictable tenors, clear risk pricing, and stable generation mechanisms, DeFi will truly transition from a "casino" to a "market."

What @TermMaxFi is doing is essentially redefining the game rules while others are still fiercely competing within the existing framework.

In the short term, such innovation may not bring explosive growth, but once mature, it will fundamentally change DeFi's difficulty level.

In the past, everyone searched for opportunities on-chain;

In the future, some will create markets on-chain.
