Abstract generation in progress

Sempra Infrastructure has officially canceled its Vista Pacífico LNG project in Topolobampo, Sinaloa, as disclosed in its annual SEC filing. The decision comes after a four-year development effort, stemming from shifting corporate priorities, regulatory hurdles, significant environmental opposition, and a broader strategic pivot back to the United States. While this project is halted, Sempra’s Energía Costa Azul project in Baja California is still moving forward.
