US March Services PMI Preliminary Reading Falls Short of Expectations

S&P Global announced that the U.S. March Services Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) preliminary reading was 51.1, below the market expectation of 51.5 and the previous value of 51.7.

During the period, the composite PMI preliminary reading was 51.4, with market expectations and previous value both at 51.9; manufacturing PMI preliminary reading was 52.4, compared to market expectations of 51.3 and the previous value of 51.6.
