On March 23, the 2026 Beijing Yizhuang Half Marathon and Humanoid Robot Half Marathon, jointly organized by the Beijing Municipal People’s Government, China Central Radio and Television Station, China Electronics Society, and the World Robot Cooperation Organization, officially announced the event details. The race will start on April 19, with human and robot competitors competing together. The registration deadline is March 10 at 24:00. The organizing committee received applications from 76 main teams from 13 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions across the country, including over 80 corporate teams and more than 20 university and training camp teams; it features 26 brands and over 300 humanoid robots.
